Over the past two days, a few of our BETA members participated in the BETA Leadership Summit in Shepardsville, KY. Our participants qualified for the National BETA Convention in the areas of “Lead Outside the Box” and “Collaboration Connection”. BETA member Sydney Byrd was chosen as a Leadership Representative, as well! We are so proud of our BETA club members and their sponsors! Way to go Eagles!!
Let's get into the Halloween spirit with a pumpkin decorating contest! Students are asked to decorate their pumpkin as their favorite storybook character! Pumpkins may be brought to ATE starting October 28th, but are due by the morning of October 29th.
Please include the student's name and the Book Character Name somewhere
on the pumpkin. Voting will take place on Family Literacy Night. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Mark your calendars for our annual Family Literacy Night and Trunk or Treat!! Doors will open at 5 pm for families to stop by the book fair. There will be a free dinner sponsored by Fountain Run First Baptist Church. Dinner and activities will begin at 5:30 pm.
Be sure to visit our local library this weekend for their annual sale! This would be a great way to stock up on books for your child/household!
At Austin Tracy Elementary, we believe in investing in our community. This is especially true when we see someone in need. When we return from fall break, we will be collecting supplies to help those impacted by the recent flooding! Please help spread the word and donate items if you're able!

Austin Tracy Beta Club is selling Butter Braids to help fundraise for the State Beta Convention at Lexington, Kentucky in January and we need your help! Butter Braids are frozen pastry dough that rises to double the size are very flakey and will melt in your mouth! They come in the following flavors: Cinnamon Roll w/Cream Cheese Icing, Apple, Chocolate, Strawberry & Cream Cheese, Bavarian Crème w/ Chocolate Icing, and Four Cheese & Herb.
They are very easy to fix! Simply THAW, BAKE, & ENJOY!

Barren County Schools offers a 95210 wellness initiative each month and invite all staff and students to join us in promoting health and well-being throughout our school and community. Scan the QR code below to enter your child into a drawing for prizes if they complete the 95210 initiatives- 9+ hours of sleep, 5 servings of fruits/vegetables, 2 hours or less of screen time, 1 hour of physical activity, and/or 0 sugary drinks! A form can be submitted every day! We look forward to seeing our Eagles recognized for their efforts in becoming a healthier child!
FCA will meet in the library at 7:00 am tomorrow morning. If students have not turned in their permission forms, they will need to turn them in at this meeting. If you cannot find your permission form, a written parent note will also work. We are excited to begin our year!
Southern Barren Family Resource Center's Advisory Council Meeting will be Monday 9/23/2024 at Austin Tracy Elementary. Meeting will begin at 3:15 p.m. and the public is welcome to attend.
Austin Tracy Elementary would like to invite all First Responders to join us for a special recognition ceremony on Wednesday September 11th at 7:20 am! Our students and staff would like to thank all those that keep us safe each day!
The first day of school at Austin Tracy Elementary will be Wednesday August 14th! Doors will open at 6:50 am for early arrivals! The school day will begin at 7:20 am. School dismissal will be at 2:25 pm. It's going to be a great year!
